Coming Soon: Why We Love the R2 (and Can’t Wait to Add It to the Fleet)

Hi, Solomon here from Best EV Rentals. I recently got some time around the new R2, and I'll be honest: I love it.

The R2 is a smaller, more compact SUV than the R1S and R1T you can rent from us today. Up close it has the same design style our guests love, just in a size that's easier to park downtown, zip around Tahoe's lake towns, and squeeze into a crowded ski-resort lot.

Why it's a great fit for Reno and Tahoe

A lot of our guests are couples or small families heading up for a ski weekend, a lake day, or a drive down to see the fall colors. They don't always need seven seats. A compact electric SUV that still has room for skis, luggage and a dog sounds like a perfect match for how people actually travel around here.

Coming to the Best EV Rentals fleet

I can't wait to add R2s to our fleet. We don't have dates to share yet. As soon as we know when one is coming, we'll post it here and on our Turo listings first.

Accessories on the way

I'm also excited for the gear that will come along for the R2, the racks, organizers and travel accessories that make road trips easier. Expect a follow-up post once we've had a chance to try some out.
